Valentino — Out of Frame!
Silent cinema, dawn of twentieth century. romantic elegant heartthrob with sleek and shiny hair? Why now, why today, how is his time or his style are still relevant?
Well, some stars never fade and never go out of fashion. World will remember Valentino as silver screen’s first ever sex symbol. In fact, in his heyday he was adored so much that some women committed suicide when they learned of actor’s early demise.
However, apart from glamour and array of exotic and seductive characters, Rudolph Valentino left us a beautiful collection of poetry and introduced Europe to tango. Handsome actor fearlessly dove into the realm of esoteric knowledge, used to actively fight for his rights as a performer and charmed many people with his unique personality. He has also struggled with his sexuality and often made it to the front pages of most venomous tabloids of his time.
But do we really know who Rudolph Valentino truly was? Will we ever understand him as a person, as a fellow human being?
Valentino-out of Frame is attempting to answer these questions and many others.
