The Two Puddings on Stratford Broadway was an iconic pub which attracted a wide range of customers from the East End and beyond.
This documentary explores a less familiar side of London in the 1960s: a world of raw young musicians, loud boozy nights, the dawn of disco and the occasional burst of violence. This is the pub where the writer of “The Long Good Friday” got his inspiration, Harry Redknapp met his wife, the Small Faces rehearsed, David Essex had his first gig and Matt Johnson of The The grew up.
