Adam is an everyday scoundrel. A man no different to thousands of others except for one thing – he tells us what he really thinks. We hear his justifications for watching porn, his tactics for getting antidepressants from his GP and how he resents his emasculating fiancée Amy. It’s his crush on Amy’s little sister Roman though, that truly steers him into dangerous waters. The younger woman piques his interest when he discovers her ‘sex blog’ and, as he’s drawn towards her, Adam must bring his A-game of avoidance, stalling and deception to stop Amy discovering the kind of person he really is.
This Man Right Here is a dark, funny, relatable new play which asks if ordinary men have an inner-rogue or whether, in fact, it’s best not to look.
