The Passion of the Playboy Riots tells the true story of the role played by Theatre in the origins of the IRA. It’s based on the writings of the dramatists WB Yeats and Lady Gregory, and Patrick Pearse, a poet and playwright and the first of the leaders of the Easter Rising to face the firing squad.
