TERRORISM by The Presnyakov Brothers

9th July 1.30pm £14
A powerful contemporary play about the terror of the everyday in six scenes from urban life. Delayed passengers at the airport, A man and a woman in bed. Office workers bicker, unaware of the horror in their building. Two grannies in a playground complain about their menfolk. Members of the police let off steam after a tough shift.
First produced at the Moscow Arts Theatre in November 2002, Terrorism was a critical smash at London’s Royal Court in 2003 and has since been performed all over the world!A true gem of contemporary Russian theatre.
‘Terrorism’ explores the constant state of fear we are all subjected to, by the media, our neighbours, friends, and ourselves. Are ‘they’ truly the ones we should be scared of?
