Killing Nana

9th – 13th April 2019 — Tues to Sat at 7.30pm and Sat mat at 3pm.  £15/12

Driven by social anxiety, sexual confusion and dysfunctional relationships, three people dream of murdering Nana.”  Stephen is in his late twenties, he spends the majority of his time in his dressing gown, staring at the television and drinking copious amounts of tea. Keeping him company, or suitably irritated, are Kimmy and Anne, girlfriend and Nana’s carer. As the story unfolds it’s clear the three of them are in a complicated ‘love’ triangle, with the lack of love being made up by a need for unarticulated, dark sexual desire with a lust for control over one another.  Killing Nana is a cynical comedy-drama playing on the effect that anxiety can have on the brain, what is real and what is not?
