Having been out of the ring for 9 yrs, concentrating on TV, Film, Radio, Theatre and his band (Grifter Kid and the Midnight Raiders) Karl Theobald – (Hang Ups, Plebs, Gameface) is back in his element, making his long awaited return to the live comedy arena.  A stripped back, one man, stand up comedy show. A “book tour” about a book that has failed to be written. In an age of the self-discovery, self-realising, self – journeying, “Selfie Helpy” book, how does a man who is essentially funny write a serious philosophical book about serious philosophical matters?  Incorporating satirical irony, silly anecdotes, character comedy and a general daftness, the show is a pretence of shambolic, improvised wrong stepping. A shaggy dog story through topical themes with a few impressions thrown in for good measure and plenty of audience interaction.
