GREENLIT, in partnership with KINO SHORT FILM, is delighted to present Scary Success — a gathering of the horror tribe, where an expert panel will share their experiences in bringing their horror films to the screen. We’ll discuss funding genre films, distribution channels and monetising your frights.
The UK has a legendary horror tradition. Production companies such as Hammer and Amicus forged the path in the 60s and 70s, and subsequent generations of British shockers have continued this diabolical tradition.
Today, films like HOST, CENSOR and DASHCAM show the genre is undead and kicking. So how do you bring your dark vision to screen? And, more importantly, what can we do as a community to rewire the way the genre is funded, made, sold and distributed?
The panel discussion will be followed by networking drinks with some of the UK’s biggest horror influencers and most exciting filmmakers.
