If you want to book to see both shows please make 2 separate bookings, one at £10 at 5pm, and one at £10 for the 7pm show. The booking fee has been reduced if you are booking both shows from 75p per ticket to 35p to reflect this.

In true showbiz style, the Mountview class of 1997 is hosting an evening of music and comedy to raise funds for our funniest classmate, the irrepressible Declan Hill. Facing a daunting treatment regime for cancer, Declan’s sense of humour continues to shine through, supporting us as we support him.

AL BARRIE – Comedy Store regular, performed in over 40 countries and ‘one of the circuit’s classiest stand-ups’ (London is Funny)

SHAZIA MIRZA -award winning stand up and fresh from ‘Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls’. “Provoking laughter and large intakes of breath once again … brave and urgent” ****The   Telegraph

PHIL NICHOL – Nominated for Best Club Comic (2017), Edinburgh Comedy Award winner and currently starring in West End Smash hit ‘Everybody’s Talking About Jamie’

NICK DOODY – Supported Bill Hicks, So You Think You’re Funny finalist and the first British comedian to perform in Croatia! Also writes for Have I Got News For You, Mock The Week and Dave Gorman’s Modern Life Is Goodish.

KATE SMURTHWAITE – stand-up and political activist, winner of the Three Week’s Editor’s Choice Award (Edinburgh Fringe), as well as writing for Have I Got News For You and The Guardian

LIAM HOURICAN – stand-up, character comedian and star of multi award-winning BBC show Murder In Successful.

THE REAL MACGUFFINS – ‘Hysterically funny…utterly inspired’ ****Fest. Stars of BBC Radio 4 ‘Sketchorama” and Best New Sketch Act Finalists (Edinburgh 2013)

DANNY HURST – Two 4**** Edinburgh comedy shows, a stand-up with  ‘Excellent gags’ (Barry Cryer) and ‘Enough funny stories to fill a warehouse’ (Metro).

JONNY DONAHOE – stand-up and musician  “…the political edge of 80s alternative comedy but Jonny Donahoe has the pop soul voice to win X Factor” (Stewart Lee in The Observer)

Join us on Sunday January 21st at the Hen and Chickens in Islington.

There will be two one-hour shows with different line ups, one at 5pm and the other at 7pm. Come for one show (tickets £12) or stay on and be entertained for 2 glorious hours (£20 for both – please purchase 1 x £10 ticket for each show)

In-between come and mingle in the bar and catch up with old friends and make some new ones. Everybody welcome.
