1st – 3rd August 9pm £10
Laura de Ryver’s hilarious one-woman show, French 101, reclaims the dreaded French lesson of your youth and turns it into a fun, furious and slightly unhinged journey through love, loss and gender equality.
Following scratch performances at the Tramshed and the Southwark Playhouse, French 101 receives its world premiere at the Hen and Chickens Theatre this August as part of the 2022 Camden Fringe Festival.
Directed by Sara Reimers, French 101 is the second production mounted by Nevertheless Theatre Company, following the success of V+15 at VAULT Festival 2020 (“stunning to observe” ★★★★ Within Her Words). Nevertheless exists to platform women’s voices and to showcase exciting new work.
So grab yourself a glass of Chardonnay and join us for a French lesson you’ll never forget.
