Forked Theatre present: Motherlogues

23rd & 24th October 7.30pm

MOTHERLOGUES – a raw and honest portrayal about motherhood. Whether it’s being a Mum, or dealing with one, this collaborative project will present a series of monologues sourced and written by the women who perform them. The strong female collective will work together in the week leading up to the show openly discussing their relationships they have with their own mothers/step mothers/mother figures, as well as being mothers themselves, and will then form monologues from these to deliver. MOTHERLOGUES will be a wonderful array of funny, heart-warming, sad, but above all, honest stories that appeal to all audience members.

Forked Theatre established themselves to specifically look at the choices women are faced with. The co-founders, spanning three decades, found themselves with a distinctly feminist voice, simply by writing about what really matters to them at the various junctures in their lives.
