A new 45 minute one-woman comic drama by Eddie Coleman, following Geraldine, a lonely, lowly secretary, caring for her invalid mother. Her only respite is Zenobia, the American hit television show adored by millions of viewers around the world, based loosely on the life of the actual third-century Syrian Queen Zenobia. When her aunt agrees to stay with her mother for one weekend, Geraldine uses her savings to attend the first ever UK fan convention in Leeds. Dressed in her home-made costume, we follow her through encounters with Dave the barman, the older couple Richard and Mary, Stick Thin Girl and Nerd Guy. We see the highs, the lows, her embarrassments and we eventually learn the secret behind her obsessional love for Zenobia.
Tickets booked online must be collected 15mins before showtime. Cash tickets are available for 30 mins at the box office.
