Black Sunday Film Festival – Sunday 24th June 2018

After the huge success of our first three events, the Black Sunday Film Festival returns to the Hen and Chickens Theatre Sunday 24th June for Vol 4, and we’ve got our biggest and best line up to date ready and waiting for you to feast your eyes on; including the return our extremely popular short film block, showcasing amazing talent from all over the world, with two amazing feature films once again closing out Block 1 and 3 of the event.

Block 1 kicks off with Chateau Sauvignon: Terroir from Writer/Director David E. Munz-Maire, an outstanding short that has been a huge hit across the world on the festival circuit.

Followed by feature film The Three Don’ts from Writer/Director Paddy Murphy; Paddy is one of the most prolific indie filmmakers on the circuit and we are beyond excited to bring his debut feature film to London.

Our ever popular Short Film Block returns in Block 2, with more genre goodness from across the globe.

Kicking off with Bride of Frankie from Writer/Director Devi Snively; another short that has been a huge success all over the world, including screenings at the Athens Film Festival and the legendary Shriekfest Film Festival. We then have animated short Wood, from Writer/Director duo Sean Sears and Tor Freeman, followed by fun UK short The Monkey from Director James Atkins, UK Dark Comedy Toby from Director Ash Ogden and Writer Lee Wardell, which we guarantee will stay with you, and the amazing US smash hit After Ashes from Writer/Director Jesse McAnally.

The festival concludes with Block 3, opening with French short, GAB from Writer/Director Gazanfer Biricik and closing out the festival is the UK produced festival hit, Charismata from Writer/Director duo Andy Collier and Toor Mian.
