Eastendless

17th & 21st Oct 7.30pm £10

James Holmes returns with his sell-out hit. Obsessed fan Tony Coventry has every EastEnders episode on video, but when he lands a bit part on the show, his dream job soon turns into a nightmare. Tim Fountain’s hilarious play is a blackly comic look behind the scenes of Britains favourite soap.

Directed by Mike Bradwell.

“Sad and moving and very funny, loved it . And yes it’s theatre and
it’s me, so trust me it’s good. He is a great writer.
Suzanne Moore, Guardian.

“Very, very funny, touching and terrifyingly relatable.”
Mark Gatiss.

“James Holmes gives a fabulous performance that should be
award-winning if there’s any justice.”
Tim McInnerny.

“A real cracker of a show. Genuinely funny. Belly laughs and real
wit. And moving when you least expect it.”
Adrian Noble, Ex Artistic Director Royal Shakespeare company.
