Family Duels is a faux-Shakespearean tragicomedy. Without using a single swearword, this pitch-black comedy by Daniel Tremor is utterly vulgar and engrossing. It is the tale of the filthy rich Thorn family and the greed that runs through their twisted veins. There is the sadistic, senile patriarch, Lord Thorn, with his penchant for cruelty and dominance, and his conniving, nymphomaniac, young wife. His nihilistic step-son, Sebastian, spends his time avoiding his obese, heartbroken sister and brooding in his bedroom over his rancid family and stale existence. That is until a dirty secret is revealed, resulting in back-stabbings and brutality, which will come to prove that, for some, blood is not thicker than currency.
