Tom’s sister vanishes inexplicably. The search for her yields nothing; the police shelve the case. Driven by the need to find Sophie, Tom is led 
into a dark underworld where his mind becomes increasingly fragile. His lifelong ability to perceive people and objects that are invisible to others both enlightens and complicates his quest.
The imaginative world and reality are interwoven in this tale of mystery and fear.
