Join Award-Winning Author A. J. Bermudez and Critically Acclaimed Director Michael Sarnoski (Pig, A Quiet Place: Day One) in conversation about writing, film, and the new book Stories No One Hopes Are About Them. The book won the 2022 Iowa Short Fiction Award, and centers on themes of power, privilege, and place. Anthony Marra has called the collection “absolutely brilliant” and Publishers Weekly’s starred review calls it a “must-read.” The event will include an artist talk, as well as a reading, book signing, and Q&A.
